T.A.M.E. Event Information

Spend a fun-packed week learning alongside twenty of America’s mighty mustangs - Sweetbeau is excited to announce the 2024 girls Mustang Experience summer camp!

T.A.M.E. - THE AMERICAN MUSTANG EXPERIENCE

– and that is just what you are going to get at this summer camp: an exciting EXPERIENCE learning about America’s symbol of freedom, the beloved mustang. The acronym also sets the theme for this intimate retreat; you will be learning about natural horsemanship, communication, gentling, and liberty training and what we humans can learn while taming the fear of captured mustangs. We of course will also focus on all the fun aspects of horse-life! Activities like Native American mustang war painting, multiple trail rides, obstacle courses, donkey hikes, swimming, and barbecuing will all be a part of this epic adventure.

Sweetbeau Horses was created to save, train, and return joy to mustangs, and T.A.M.E. accomplishes this mission. Our kids camp is founded on the belief that kids have a special connection with horses, and that bond builds trust, leadership, and deep understanding of communication and life in both the person and the horse. Children need horses just as much as horses need children, and our mustangs are ready to play and learn! We hope through the engaging, educational, and exciting activities at T.A.M.E., our youth will come away emboldened and inspired to continue learning, growing, cultivating their passions, and save a space in their hearts for supporting the future of the mighty mustang!

For every T.A.M.E. event hosted and supported by Sweetbeau Horses, all of the proceeds go toward supporting the Sweetbeau mustangs. Sweetbeau is a 501c3 non-profit which saves, trains and adopts wild American mustangs with the goal to give mustangs taken off the range a safe and fulfilling domestic life. Any training or handling done at Sweetbeau is always at the horse’s pace to ensure strong and willing horse and human connection.

You will find all the information you need about participating in the Sweetbeau T.A.M.E. Girls Summer Camp 2024 below. If you have any questions, please reach out to christine@sweetbeauhorses.org.
